She's more than an angel
longing for a chance
chasing a dream
craving one more dance

Fighting the current
that's blowing her away
invisible to the wind
she keeps trying to stay

The object of my affections
standing near the door
her crimson haze has lifted
she seems brighter than before

She's much more than an angel
it's hard to explain
She has Jesus in her soul
eyes filled with flames

She lights up like a beacon
than quietly fades away
